Lauren N. Perez, LCSW, is from the Bronx. She earned her MSW from NYU's Silver School of Social Work in 2011, then spent nearly a decade in hospitals and clinics across Queens and the Bronx before opening her private practice in 2020.

Lauren walks Taíno and Mexica Indigenous paths and is an Espiritista. Spirit is not something she studies from a distance. It is part of how she lives, how she listens and how she sits with the people she works with.
